 Re: Mikuni?
Wonder what the comparison in performance would be between the 42 vs the 38 w/cam from pvt? That would save a few hundred looks like.

 Re: Mikuni?
I'm going to get one for my next motor and see how it does. But all I will have on it is heads exhaust and carb.

Still, has to be a big improvement over stock carb.

 Re: Mikuni?
Med, Email al and ask him. He responded to me quickly and gave me a lot of information on what he has found to be the best "kits" for these motors. With that said I didn't do anything he recommend.

 Re: Mikuni?
Only kink in the plan for ProDrives might be the throttle.

 Re: Mikuni?
Yep, you would have to rig something up or convert it to a squeeze grip.

 Re: Mikuni?
In cold weather, twist throttle sucks with gloves on, it hurts. But frozen throttle cables suck too.

 Re: Mikuni?
I never had an issue with my mb and gd levers. If I can figure out how to change it then I probably will end up doing it.

 Re: Mikuni?
I had a problem twice this year and had my throttle cables froze or where the cable goes into the mikuni. Anyway I was super hungover the last time it did it and tried to fix the problem and now my carbs out of adjustment and I'm to stupid to get it back right!

 Re: Mikuni?
I bought one from Andy yesterday. Good kit, Harley any tuning on my part after Andy did his thing. I just installed it tuned the idle some and ran it. Huge difference!! I shouldn't have waited being I had one on my last motor. I always knew what I was missing lol

 Re: Mikuni?
The rev box is 125$ more? I bought mine last July from the same guy as you bought that one (judging from the receipt) and I wanna say it was like 750 but no rev box and I drove over there and got it instead of shipping it 40 miles. So that sounds about right. I do agree...fucking ridiculous to charge 400$ for a fucking intake adapter that is half ass cast and uneven, a cute shield that'll probably break across where it says mikuni power eventually, a throttle cable, a flame arrestor, and some hardware. I just don't see it.

 Re: Mikuni?
I hear you can piece the kit together on your own and save a lil money.
