 Re: New tach
i see a lot of Tiny Tach problems/failure here - is it advised to replace it right off the bat and be done with it?

 Re: New tack
Only issue I had was moisture getting behind the face and fogging it up. I called Tiny Tach and it's an easy fix. Slip your knife or a very small flat head screw driver under the corner of the clear front "screen" and it'll peel off. Then clean it and carefully put a thin layer of clear silicone around the frame of the cover and put it back on. Resealed from the elements and problem solved.

 Re: New tack
Some cool new options coming soon from Tiny Tach. I will have a backlit one to check out soon.
If your tach malfunctions, you can peel the transparent label off, then use a razor knife to cut out the sealant on the circuit board. Then bridge the 2 exposed solder points. It will reset. Squirt some silicone in there, replace the label, and ride into the sunset.
