I was a little unsure of these at first, because I thought it was a knockoff of MM but after talking to Chris about them, I might try to take one home in a few weeks!

Post Re: Mac exhaust thread
Some of you guys can talk some shit when you really never saw the MAC exhaust in person like some of us did.

If you ever took apart a Marsh mellow and saw what's inside it's fucking sad how they are built with cheap ass perforating pipe with small holes. The first canister the exhaust dumps into there's nothing there just an empty canister that the tubing goes into that's POINTLESS! Look at the canister with the exhaust tips, after cutting my old marsh mellow up to look inside because I was tired of fixing the bitch. I'm glad I got a MAC exhaust because I got a see what his is building it out of and there's a big difference in the MAC then all the other brands out there. It's built with thicker perforating pipe and a 10 ga stainless bracket with 5/16 bolts holding the bracket together. This thing is a beast, I like it and from what I'm hearing he has two on crawfishermen that one just turn 178 hours and the other guy had 140 hours with NO issues. I would say this if the sumbitch last then it's worth the money.

This is some pics of my marsh mellow I cut to see what was inside. With all the restriction of that wall with the perforating screen you better off running a stock exhaust then a marsh mellow.

Isn't that only on there quieter muffler and second if u build the exhaust out of heavier material that can't flex I have a feeling u r gonna be replacing heads and not exhausts but good luck

I have 3 marsh mellows with lots of hours on them that have never had any issues

I don't understand Mack and marshmallow Exhaust Mm was made first. Mack made later ...... Mm 550. Mack 550 half the exhaust. As in craw fishermen testing it it's a good theory. They need to be tested on mud runs and shit like that not where the run trap to trap and idle. Honestly have to say the Mac exhaust looks way better that mm and hope it out last the motor !!!!!

Yes it's a lot of money for an exhaust. But IF it holds up, then think of all of the time, money and frustration you will save not having to screw with it all the time. If it can last 5 years or so I'd say its a good investment. Guess we will see.

Sentences can't start with "and," most of that is misspelled, and there is no punctuation. Thank you for proving my point.

On the other hand, we all wish we could be as hardcore as you...

I get that stock ones will break too, but I can break 4 or 5 stock ones for the cost of one of these new ones. If there's no difference in performance over a stock I just don't see what the appeal is.

Some of y'all sound like dang democrats lol.

Here's the deal. If it is a great product and enough people buy it for his asking price, he will make money and be successful. If it is over priced and people don't buy it at his asking price, he will not be successful and be forced to either lower the price OR go out of business. ITS CALLED CAPITALISM!!! Works every time...

A quick look at his fase book page and I will say this.. Deff a beefy looking bracket system, and good sound. His work looks really nice also.. I hope it holds up for 550$

Aka when u can put 100 hours a week on a motor like some of us do then your bullshit counts I've never see a fisherman in the woods ( go around ) something they 1 either run over it 2 run through it the guys that do this for a living in my eyes are the ones that I would want to do r&d like gt PD and Mac.

Slayer mud runs isn't the place to do test u need people like ddm who use their boat everyday and put hundreds of hours and aren't scared to beat them up and put the abuse on them to find the weak spots so it can be taken care of riding once a weekend or once a month isn't the kinda r&d I would want anyways.

Every single exhaust made is gonna break the fuck up eventually. It's inevitable. Stockers included. So if you wanna spend money on an exhaust, don't even think about longevity. Look at whichever one looks the best to you and sounds best to you and go with it...because they all break in the end it's the nature of a mud motor. If you don't wanna buy one and wanna run gutted stockers, tats great too. Period.
