BTW I JUST WANT TO PERSONALLY THANK THE STUPID A$$ PEOPLE THAT DROVE THROUGH OUR DECOYS THIS MORNING AFTER WE SHINED LIGHTS IN THEIR EYES AND SHOT OUR GUNS IN THE AIR. THEY WERE OUT THERE IN A GATORTRAX WITH A MUDBUDDY AND ANOTHER SMALL BATEAU WITH A MUDBUDDY. CONGRATS FELLAS THATS THE WAY TO SCOUT BIRDS RIDE AROUND IN THE MORNING AND DRIVE TO THE PLACE WHERE ALL THE SHOOTING IS AND FUK UP SOMEONE'S HUNT, THEN COME BACK THE NEXT MORING AND TRY TO BEAT THEM TO IT!!!!!!!!! YA'LL GOT TO WAKE UP A LIL' EARLIER IN THE MORNING TO GET OVER ON US!!!!! THEY TRIED TO SCREW OUR HUNT UP BUT WE WERE OUT THERE REAL EARLY AND SET UP BEFORE ANYONE WAS MOVING AROUND AND STILL SHOT OUR LIMIT WITH THEM DRIVING THROUGH OUR DECOYS AT 6 AM!!!!

This is sunday morning's hunt. I did not take any pictures of the ducks we shot today we were in a hurry to get home, but we ended up killing 3 mottled ducks, 1 grey duck hen, 10 teal mostly blue wing.

WELL IT WAS KINDA DARK BUT JOHN THEY WERE CLOSE ENOUGH TO MY BOAT I COULD HAVE SLAPPED THE FUK OUT THEM WITH A PADDLE!!!!! BUT THE GATORTRAX LOOKED TO BE BRAND NEW AND THE MUDBUDDY MAY HAVE BEEN A 7000 WITH THE TWIN GLASS PACK LOOKIN EXHAUST, AND THE OTHER BOAT HAD A STOCKER...PUT IT THIS WAY THEY WERE PASSING THROUGH HAWKINS CUT NEAR SHELL ISLAND TODAY AT AROUND 10:00AM.....IF ANYONE KNOWS THEM TELL THEM TO GO BACK TO BATON ROUGE AND HUNT!!!!!! WE DONT DO SH!T LIKE THAT AROUND HERE!

What gives you the conclusion they were from Baton Rouge? They could've been from anywhere. There's more MB froms the New orleans area than BR. Just hate to see you label someone. I had someone straight lie to me the other day.I was told someone was already in a spot in the woods on a wma were I was going to hunt ,when in actuallity they were holding the spot for there friend that couldn't get up early enough. What was it? is it that My group was calling the Birds to our hole in their sight? so they couldn't take the pressure.Better luck next time.Shame on them for bluffing me once,next time the joke will be on them. Maybe your decoy spread was so "realistic" that they thought they were real Mallards!

I came to the conclusion with hunting public land and fishing anywhere, and hunting in general, that a good 50-80% of the population is eaten up with such a severe case of the dumb-ass that its down-right scary if you think about it a whole bunch. I have seen some scary shit deer hunting on private land as well. The sooner you accept this you can move of to the next stage of enjoying yourself.

Kinda like a couple years ago during the Sept early goose season. We scouted this spot that was semi public. Everything was looking good. So we decided to get a early start and head out a couple hours before shooting time. This spot is about five mins from my home. We arrive to find a truck parked along side the road where we were going to hunt. So we are bummed out. I look at the truck and do not see any kind of hunting gear or gun cases or the other pile of junk us waterfowlers gather. So I decided to walk out towards the flashlight that is shining at me. Upon walking up to the guy he has a blue work uniform on. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was holding this spot for someone. I yelled to my brother and buddy to bring the decoys on. The guy asked me what I was doing and I told him 'if you are hunting and beat me to a spot I will leave and not bother you in any way, however if you got off work at midnight and someone is paying you to wave a flashlight to keep others away you can kiss my butt'. So he walks back to his truck and drives off. We shot 15 geese in about thirty minutes.
A week or so goes by and I'm at the courthouse for a trial. A lawyer walks up to me and said Thanks alot. I said your welcome for whatever. He said you bullied my friend off of our spot. I told the lawyer to get up earlier. He said I was bringing some kids with me to have a good hunt. I said we had a great hunt but you should have set your alarm a little earlier. i asked him this 'its opening day and there is several hundred geese using a field that several guys can hunt. Why would you think that you could sleep in as if you were hunting a private hole???
This lawyer died about a week later from health problems. My brother and buddy said I did it to him.

Thats a great story. I promise you next time i will handle my situation different.I noticed three boat trailers at the landing the morning i ran into my problem and passed two along the way out (actually pulled 1 to his spot because of a fuel problem) . So i know there wasn't anyone else out there. He got lucky that morning I was in my nice guy mood ,but next time their will be no such luck.

i guess i'm getting soft in my old age. i had sum dooche give me the california salute when i passed about 400 yrds from his blind which was in a direct pass with the mouth of the bayou i run.

instead of going choke him till his eues bugged out i just calmly went home and woke up 30 min earlier the next day and shit in his duck blind.

well correction on the baton rouge thing I said. What I ment was he had to be from out of town. And I forgot to mention that the a$$hole not only drove through the decoys but they drove just fast enough to draw a huge wake and almost push us out of the blind we made for the boat. what a d!ck!!! But anyway we had two great hunts last weekend, best damn hunts yet!!! I hope I get to make a couple more before the season closes.

me and Willett had some jackasses whoop a stalk on our decoys the other day. they were staking up in their boat, with guns loaded, ready to jump shoot.

typical wanna be hunters who dont scout or even know how to scout for birds they show up right before LST and go towards the most spot lights they see and set up close to ya and then sky bust and wonder why they arent killing anything or the birds dont want to work ....forkin idiots

dont be so easy to say private is the best way to go b/c we got some dumbasses on our duck lease that think riding your 4wheeler every single day around the property scraing birds off the ponds to see where they want to be and then when they get out there to hunt if nothing is flying they will drive around while other ppl are hunting to jump birds off of other ponds plus sky bust there too!!! forkin idiots

I was told by a friend that someone made a post on this site and his information was incorrect. I decided to visit this particular post that LA OUTLAW posted and after doing so, I have decided to set the record straight. I think I was the guy in question that morning, I had my two young children in the boat with me. I was about 60 yards from your decoys and then set up about 500 yards away from you. What I can tell is that I will be in the same area this weekend without my children, and if you feel the need to scream and use profanity at me, this time things will be a lot different. It was an accident and its public land. Build a bridge and get over it. I hope you understand what that comment means because it seems your an ignorant azz-hole!!!
