 How to ship an engine to calen? Removed engine from gatortail frame and plan to ship it to calen ASAP. Would southeastern freight or one of them be a recommended way or just take it to fed ex? . Looking for the most economical and fastest way to ship it. Shipping from North Alabama to Franklin, LA

Re: How to ship an engine to calen? The most economical and fastest way is for you to bring it yourself.
Fedex will be your next best bet because they will ship up to 150 lbs (ups only goes to 125), but you still may have to remove your muffler and ship it in another box depening on how much the box you put the motor in weights.

this was short block only! It was over the wieght limit! They are heavier then they claim...

Re: How to ship an engine to calen? Called southeastern freight lines got one close across the river in Huntsville, AL.. But Anyway $97.02 two day shipping. I was shocked that doesn't sound bad at all.

Re: How to ship an engine to calen? The lady said for some reason since I called and got a quote I got a 78% discount she gave me a code. If had just brought it up there it would have been 2-300 dollars (don't feel like doing the math right now)
