 Cold run this AM...
I was running this AM, 24 degrees out. Warmed up motor on trailer + 5 min idle out... I was WOT the whole way, 4 guys full tank of gas running 3350 RPM. I felt like the motor would slightly bog down, I wasn't able to watch RPM's cause of glare on headlamp / blinding me but every now and then felt like she backed off slightly maybe 200 rpm... I'd readjust my grip back off a little go back to WOT do it maybe 30 seconds later... I remembered reading about spark plugs in cold weather? Anyone have any thoughts? My buddy did put 2GA of regular in my tank that had supreme? Should I toss it in the truck? She ran back fine to the ramp we were heavy with ice & mud and going into wind... Air temp had risen to 32 by then. Also ran fine powering out of the mud, running the banks that had ice on 'em if you think mud is fun to slide on I did a 720 on the ice!

 Re: Cold run this AM...
I really think alot of guys are over doing it about the cold weather. I've had my fair share of problems this year, but if I had 24 degrees I would hunt in my t shirt and underware. I run it in 0 degrees at a power plant and don't do anything other than lube the cable on my mikuni. These motors just don't run at top performance when its cold and I've come to terms with it. I just run it like I stole it and wait for the next thing to break! -5 in the morning and we are chaseing geese!

15 here this morning and busting ice most of the way. My motor runs like that when we get to the freezing point. Feels like its bogging down.

 Re: Cold run this AM...
carb icing boys!!! there ain't a whole lot you can do about it when it is truly cold and humid except run a heat resistant tube from exhaust outlet to within an inch or so of air filter inlet, but you would have to remove it if the temps rose significantly.
