Anyone recommend one? I sold my old Diamond City (all aluminum) which I had custom built to my rig. What I liked was it was very light, strong, all wires were hidden, LED's, and pulled like a dream. The problem was the the original axle was built with camber which wore out the outsides of my tires. I did replace the axle which cured the problem. I have a top of the line McClain aluminum trailer constructed with all I-beam, and u-bolts, torsion axle, radials. It is just heavy. I do like the torsion axle vs the spring set up as this trailer is very smooth on the road. My objective would be to build one to my specs with all channel, hidden wires, and torsion axle. I know there are companies out there, but living up here in ND my options are limited. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and information you guys have.

I would rather have it with I beams not channel they flex way to much

I understand about the flex but if designed right with good support it won't be an issue.

I called him looking for a trailer…prices were very reasonable..but couldn't find anyone else that had used them, and he only had about 3 posts since becoming a sponsor (several months)….and being about 7 hrs away and with my work schedule….I wanted positive reviews before I sent my money into someone for a deposit, Especially all the run-around some members were having with a start up boat builder at the time …If I had lived closer he would have gotten my business for sure.

Anyone else know of any good trailer dealers or custom trailer builders in the louisiana area? Boat will be 21' 66" with a small degree v. 150 fourstroke hanging off the rear. Contemplating between single and tandem axle.

Yep a tandem!!!!

I hate tandem axles, by the time you realize you have a flat you've done ate the tire off the rim and maybe tore something up! I had a single 5000lb axle under my 20' with a 150 yamadog, Worked great!
