Hey, you guys forget; MUD BUDDY (along with Gator Tail) also has INSTANT reverse.
I don't work for them so I have nothing to gain from their successes nor anything to lose from their failures, SO you have to ask yourself this:

Does their new motor have some problems? From what I hear from several sources; Yes, several problems.

Will they ever get the ' things keep breaking ' bugs worked out of it? Possibly.

Will they ever get the Sport H into production? Who knows?

BUT... If they do, and they can get some time under their belts without stuff breaking and their customer service improves, they just might have a "game changer" - as some others have put it.

Just a thought.... One that'll probably die of loneliness.

Actually I heard from my local dealer that the new sport H was supposed to start shipping in 2 weeks!

Don't know if this dixie pro-staffer is BSin but i know that dixie is gonna need something unreal to put out, then they might earn the respect that they lost, MIGHT.

I'm thinking this "Instant, Full Power Reverse" ought to be interesting. Using a Propeller. Making a propeller face the opposite direction for full power reverse. As quickly as GTR or an outboard, instead of like a prodrive. Hmm.... Even on concept, doesn't exactly pass the proverbial smell test that keeps coming up. But hey, I'm sure that's gonna be a feat of engineering that the NEW Dixie is capable of.
