August 9-10. Any of you guys gonna be there? Do they usually put on a pretty good test? A friend and I are going with a handful of labs and an english cocker.

Make sure you bring plenty of water for your dogs... it's hot as heck and it's in the middle of the woods so no breeze air moving around anywhere guys had generators and fans in their trailers.... good test tho have some decidedly technical water

Generally a solid test. It used to be held on Camp Beauregard property north of Pineville. No idea where it's held now. I haven't run that test in 7 or 8 years.

They used to have a water slide for the kids and always had a great tailgate.

As has been said, bring a cooler with lots of ice, fans, etc. When I would run that test, I always froze 2 liter bottles and would bring a huge ice chest filled with the 2 liters. I'd throw one in each hole of my box and the dogs would lay on them to keep cool. As the bottle melted, I'd use it for dog drinking water.

Also, don't forget your stakeouts.....let the dogs cool off before kenneling them back up.
