Re: Anyone in ga? its called alligator weed there are sevral herbicides to kill it mostly glyphosphates (roundup) only kill on contact meaning they only kill whats above the water. a systemic herbicide like 24-d travels in the plant and kills it from the inside but takes longer to see results. your local extention agent or chemical company can hook u up with something just ask em.
