We've been pretty dry in NTX and SE OK. Go farther into OK. Any of the big lakes around Tulsa are good or go to Kaw on KS border

I'll give ya some info, the lakes have been full all summer and there is not any vegetation to hold the ducks, they are not planting any millet this year, so that will make any public hunting tuff. Most my spots will suck, so unless you have somebody that will take you to a honey hole, good luck. Cuz looks like my mud boat ain't going to get many hrs on it again this year. Lucky we got so many private spots. Unless you can find something they regulate water on. Pm me I could help you there, but it would be like throwing you too the lions, we quit hunting those places cuz to many dumbass people.

I've thought about going up there with my boat for a week or so during our December split if work is slow.
Any of you north/nw ok guys shoot me a pm. I'd like to pick your brain a little bit

I can only speak about north Texas area
If you have water you can pick and choose your birds (private hunting)
Public hunting is and has always been assholes to elbows. Low water even makes it worse.
If you want guaranteed birds pay a guide ! I know a fella at TexomA if you go that route

Good luck hope this helps
