I dont get to watch football as much as I used to being I work weekend shift but I try n follow as best I can. Im definitely ready for football though, I always thought baseball and jungle ball are just too damn boring. I get sick of hearing about it all summer.

We need a true play off system. My plan would be based on the number of losses and I think it would have to be that way. First, only teams with 2 or less losses are eligible. That way no team can say (well they lost 3 like we did, why are they in the playoffs and we are not). Championship game is the second saturday in Jan. First round of playoffs are 5 weeks prior to that.

If there are an odd number of teams, then the lowest seeds play games so that the winners and those left will have 16 teams for 8 games the next week. Same thing if there are less than 16 teams with 2 or less losses. Then there are only 4 weeks of playoffs. Seeds are determined by losses then strength of schedule.

There will be sites determined each year for each round to play in. Regional teams will be scattered as much as possible to not have to play each other. If teams played each other in the season they would be in opposite brackets if possible.

Nothing will ever be perfect, but I think this would be best. NCAA is so dumb, they will come up with a dumb playoff.

I am sorta excited to see the Saints in a preseason game tomorrow night, where Brees will probably not even ever put a helmet on. And there is not much to play for. But I do like watching some of those rookies and those vets trying to hook onto their dream of playing in the NFL and giving their all when there is just a sliver of a chance they will make it.

I also like watching the back up QB's. I find that the backups behind Brees do not get enough game experience. Peyton has played Brees too long when the Saints are up by 3 TDs, or when the game is out of reach when they are behind. If Brees goes down, not a lot of experience behind him. Peyton needs to play those backups more instead of risking Brees in those situations.

The only reason I like feetball is because it means teal season is right around the corner. Other than that I could care less if they quit playing.
