Does anybody have the optional go devil gun box, mounted in there go devil boat? Pictures would be awesome, if it's mounted either across the bulkhead, or lengthwise on the side of your boat. After calling I found out the dimensions of the gun box is 54 x 9 x 8".

Go Devils really seems to be behind the time updating website and giving visual on what they're boats are like. Has anyone actually added up the measurement from their CAD pictures lengthwise, they don't add up to an 18 Ft boat, lol

i like the open floor alot better. especially since you can get floating/waterproof guncases, its nice to have the flexibility in the floor plan. but just call them, theyre very helpful

Sorry, no pics but we had the gun box in our old 1856 GoDevil boat. I wouldn't do it again, just seemed to get in the way. Now we just have loops made from nylon strap that are mounted on the inside of the boat. The guns hang in the loops out of the way.

No Go Devil here but just a thought, make it removable, like how the Prodrive boxes are removable using thumb screws and riv nuts. You can make different arrangements by strategically installing riv nuts in the floor in different locations. I like a box so you can store other items but I've also seen the slings like mentioned above hung on the sides of the hull for the gun alone and that's nice too.

i had a gun box in my old 1848. i removed the back foam floatation pods and put the gun box on left side in back. they are designed to go in the front

GD does make them so they are removable, actually.
