Sorry about your loss mudxxed. I went through the same thing a few year back when my boys were small. My brother convinced me to take one of his puppies cause it take a few years to get the dog right and it would grow up with the boys and protect them. I did and am glad, Nobodies going to come around the boys us less we let them and the dog approves. Just a thought!

I hate that mudxxed. It is hard to think about a dog that has passed. I had a scare last night. My Boykin fell off the boat thursday morning and went under the boat for about 4 secs and then popped up. He was fine and we kept riding. Well last night he was real lethargic and that is not normal, so i checked his temp and it was 105. I cooled him off and it went down. So this morning my wife took him to the vet and he ingested some water with a bacteria and it made him run a fever and his spleen and prostate swell. They have him on IV fluids and antibiotics. They say he is going to be ok after a few days of this. He is having to stay at the place so they can keep an eye out on him. I was pure sick at work thinking about him not making it through it. He is my best bud, and more loyal than any person I know!

Hope your Boykin gets back on his feet soon. Yeah they are way more loyal than any person on this earth. And frog yeah, I need to get one here shortly. The one I lost woulda been a great big sister to my little girl.
