 Re: White lake lottery hunt?
Joel, I talked to a buddy of mine who said they gonna bring you with a guide to a blind and you will not have to bring anything but your personal gear.

 Re: White lake lottery hunt?
yep, had a guide and rode a old mudboat and then got in a pirouge to get to the blind.
2 limits my 830. 2 summer mallards, 3 greys, 4 teal, 1 pintail, 2 ringers.
saw big ducks all morning, but wouldn't work the crappy decoy spread. the 2 spinners in the decoy spread were also flareing ducks fron 200 yds out.
was a great experiance, you get to learn how the rich are asshumping the poor by not allowing u free acess to ur own property. but for 350$ i'd rather get a hot hooker and lots of beer. had better hunts at the wax for free.
if we wouldn't of been 10 min late to the blind because sum jo-bubba forgot to buy a duckstamp and the idiots let him go to the store and go buy one, putting everybody in the blinds at least 10 min after shooting time.
anyway, if we would of been on time, i would of gone out of the blind and got all the decoys out past 50yds and brought them in sum so the ducks would be in range when skirting spread. i would of smashed roboduck into the mud where it would not flare birds. and i probly would of shuved the call up the 'guides' ass.
i'm all for making my property a wma and let the people who own it finish destroying it.
the only reason we got to hu nt is cause the 30k$ corperate hunt got canceled that weekend.
did i also mention that the guides apparently have other things to do, so u better shoot ur ducks quick or they'll let another blind shoot ur limit. i don't care, but the young boy i brought is the future of our sport don't need to be rushed and exposed to the 'jo-bubba system till he's old enough to know better.
i'd give it a 7 out of 10 rating. would be a slam dunk 10 out of 10 if it were a actual hunting club that hads to depend on it's reputation an ability instead of run by the state with state employees who don't give a crap.
that's my opinion. DA
