Post Remington M887
I bought one right after Xmas. Went duck hunting with it a couple of times and made a few kills.
I've only shot Winchester Xpert Hi-Velocity Steel 3" 1-1/4oz. No.4 1,400FPS. The gun came with a Mod Choke so that is all I have so far.

Anyone here shoot this same gun? What shells are you using? And what choke?

Forgot to give you my thoughts.

It's been a while since I bought a shotgun. I was looking at something that could shoot 2 3/4 - 3 1/2, and was weather friendly. The coating all over the gun makes it a great waterfowl gun. No need to worry about chipping the coating on wood stocks and forearm. With the gun being so light I was worried about the kick it would have. I have no idea what Remington did but it doesn't kick no more than a gun with heavy wood stocks. It has a nice buttpad on it that helps cusion alot of the kick.
My brother saw it and shot it this weekend and really like how it shoots. He shoots a Mossberg Mavrick.
The pump action is very fluid and doesn't have a catch like some pumps have. Also disassembly is a breeze. 2 pins and the gun breaks down to 5 pieces and re-assembles just as fast.

I like it, but as I stated, I just got back into hunting so, this is actually coming from someone that has tested many other guns.

Here is a video I found that goes through the features of the 887.

All but the plastic coated barrel looks like a knock off of the Nova... I did see one thing in the video that I do like... The hot chic in the back ground about 5 mins in :D ....
