thats a long haul man.. i make that drive to Gator Tail once every other month or so. Newberry SC to Loreauville LA takes me right at 12 hours coming down. usually stay at the holliday in express in Henderson. Theres a place called Crawfish Town USA i like to eat that has some pretty good food.
