 Which rig to buy Hey fellas, first post. Planning on buying a new rig, currently considering Excel 1851 w/ a Boss H. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

Re: Which rig to buy Might be a good idea to see the H's be proven before buying. Where will you be using the boat and motor, may make a big difference.

Re: Which rig to buy Find the closest mm dealer near u and ask around about how the take care of folks who have purchased rigs/motors from them. That's how I narrowed it down service seems to be the key factor they all seem to tear up at some point.

Re: Which rig to buy You need to do your research. I can tell you I have ran MB for a long time. 4 years ago I put a down payment on the H series. 3 months ago I called to find out when my motor was coming. They didn't know and couldn't tell me when. So now I own a new GT and a gator trax. The end.

Dealer in Arkansas that I have done quite a bit of business with told me he has 3 of the H's due for delivery any day now, he is supposed to send me a firm quote next week, probably Tuesday. This doesn't mean I'm going to buy one and also why I'm asking here. Thanks for all the input.
