Re: Lodging in The Buras area
Good condos at Cypress Cove Marina with a restaurant/bar right there for you. Lots of good people hanging around there (one in particular with infinite knowledge of Baptiste Collette). Also, you can keep your boat in the water right there, and they now have their live bait shop open. Otherwise, Lighthouse Lodge & Villas is a good place, I'm told. Just up the road a bit...

Re: Lodging in The Buras area
Venice has a lot more options than Buras. Buras has a few decent ones also.

Preston, do you have about three or four mud rigs in your front yard right along the highway?

Well damn, I thought I knew which house was yours... Your house must be the one with fifteen yellow helicopters and 300 rigged out trucks, right??? Nice place!

Re: Lodging in The Buras area
Ended up in Venice @ Cyprus Cove. Pretty nice place. Enjoyed the chase of some Red Fishing and Bowfishing. There was a lot of local guys there for Teal season opener. So we just tried to stay out of the way and do our thing. A few pics from the weekend. Thanks for all the help guys. I hope yall that live down in that area never take that area for granted I have only been there 4 times, but I think about those waters alot.

I saw you leaving Venice on Sunday, I was the one who had the police cars blocking one lane on Hwy 23 in Venice.
