Post motor is pushing hard what could be wrong
I just bought a 2015 gator tail an put it on a 16ft alweld an the motor is pushing towards me hard in 20 mins I gotta stop to give my arm a break.....i had the older model gtrs an they never pushed what could be the problem

Could be a weight distribution issue or just need to bend the tab on the LU.

Dont bend skeg. It is cast and will break.

Not sure why you couldn't build a wedge to bolt to the skeg.

But if anything ever happened to the lower unit it probably wouldn't be under warranty.
