No it was some younger guys around my age that wanted to holler at me for putting a marker (single decoy) in their spot which had not been marked or messed with before I went wednsday. When I asked him when he had scouted and seen the place he replied 6 o'clock yesterday afternoon and threw my maker deke at me. I wasn't to happy. And this all started cuz I saw my marker deke on his front deck.

And FYI my marker deke is painted pink so you can't mistake it

Whoever showed up 20 minuets before shooting time in the North flats and set up so close to us I could hear y'all talking, fuck you for shooting at those swing birds that were too high for y'all and working into our decoys. Glad y'all didn't shoot shit and we got our limits. Asshole, duck dynasty pricks. If I know you then you should know better anyway because most every hunter I know would not have done that.

Was the marker decoy to hold your spot? If I c a pink decoy where I hunt, I'm going to take a very good look at the area to make sure I don't want to hunt the area. U shouldn't have been building a blind on public land anyway.

Bootzz, where did you get the idea of using a pink decoy to "mark" your spot? I've hunted Henderson for 50 years and never heard of such a thing. Maybe you were using it as a reflector to find a particular spot in the dark? I can understand that, but, man, the pink decoy to claim a spot will not accomplish a thing. Only sure way, is to get up at 1 am, lauch at 1:15 and be where you want to by 1:45 am like we had to. Plus, pick an area that you could get to only by walking in 3 feet of mud and that no body else wanted to work hard to get to, like we did. We thought about hunting the south flats because there was enough water to float a boat, but that would have been too easy.

I never shot a pink decoy before. I hope I see one one-day so I can.
