Just spoke to the guy. He's stuck bad with 3 podahs. He has two buddies going to meet him in mudboats. He has a mudbuddy and needs a boat with a Gator tail or prodrive to did a ditch for him to get out. He'll report once his friends get there whether this will need an airboat or not.

Hope all goes well I'm out of town for day and don't know anyone in the area.

I called the marine police the other day when I got stuck, they came within an hour and pulled me out. 18ft airboat with a 6.0L on it. awesome guys.

It might take a while but he's gonna get help and will retrieve his boat.

He said he started sliding in the shallow water and mud, lost control, and stated to ping pong off of 2x 4 stakes until coming to a stop about 40 yards into thick mud and little water. They were stuck good. Only airboat will get them out.

Somebody call wildlife and fisheries saying they seen guys out there shooting big ducks on the flats I guarantee they come out and maybe have some sympathy to pull me out hahaha

Spoke to him this morning. He said they were going back with a comealong, a pile driver and some pipes to skid over. The problem is he's on flat river mud/sand and about 400 yards away from 1 foot of water. No rope long enough to pull him out. It's gonna be a long day with a comealong if they can't get an airboat out there. They're gonna have to secure the comealong on foot every 10 feet or so, over 400 yards of mud and sand....that's a lot of cranks on the comealong. Thankfully, there's a nice breeze out today and the temp is only in the mid 80's. Good luck fellas.

a portable capstan winch and really long rope would be the ticket. yall could stand around drink beer and pull her out no prob.

Damn man were you driving a Sherman tank? Just Get 4 buddies and push that sumbitch back to water. If me and 3 buddies can get an 1860 excel off 200 yards of beach, then surely y'all could get er back to water. If you need the 16 LT to come pull you out I can be there in 4 hours

Helicopter is your best bet. Don't forget to bring a couple straps though.

you can find some good used industrial ones at a good price. we use em to string several thousand lb conveyor belts they are the cats ass.
