same here seeing lots of teal in rice fields. looks like it will be a lot better than teal season last year.

There was a snow storm out west around Calgary 2 days ago! The birds won't move for a bit. I let you know when the big push should come. on the same note they are calling for another early winter up here.

I gotta feeling it ganna be long and hard.

Lotta of teal pushed out this week and a lot more geese moving down. Last weekend of early goose here. Hopefully smash geese in the am and shwack a doe for the freezer as bow season opens saturday. Lows in the low 40s this am. Love it.

Mega ducks in my neighborhood in MN right now. My 11yo daughter shot her limit in an hour last weekend for youth day. Should be a crazy opener come Saturday. I just hope it's not like last year. We shot 102 ducks the first 3 weeks and 4 ducks the next 4 weeks before freeze up...

weather is stabilizing and turning warmer 70s for later in the week. Checked out a spot this weekend for southern zone opener in 2 weeks still mostly woodies out there so we will see what has come to play for northern opener. We have had a few cool temp days with some north winds.

Tons of teal are still here with the warm weather should be a great shoot come opener, big ducks are starting to show them selves as well.

couple buddies and kids came back from ND youth hunt - almost all teal in their (large ND) bag

we got mid 70s here for this weekends duck opener. birds arent comin down with weather like this.

its been lows in the low 40s for a good week then we get hit with a week long hot spell. Leaves are starting to change colors up here so its coming.

Calling for 81 here tomorrow.

70's here today won't be any birds moving down South for a while yet, so ya'll don't get to excited about that............

I did find a few holes that a fairly large amounts of mallards were hanging in, plus plenty of wood ducks flying around. So between early teal and the youth hunt not all the birds commited a mass exodus as some seem to think.

low numbers of teal but a few around. Saw a ton of woodies around and a few mallards on my last scouting adventure. Most the mallards by me are hanging out on the large highly developed lakes.

Kids shot a bunch of teal last weekend on lake wi and the river also a lot of woodies around still only local mallards.
