Been thinking bout a Ruger LCR to carry as a pocket rocket, small size with a nice punch.. Hadnt had a chance to look at one in person yet. Any pros and cons?

Taurus has a compact .380 out that I want to look at. Just remember a good hit with a 22 is better than a miss with a canon. If its not on you then its doing you no good so summer time shorts and tees means subcompact and bellyband. Course Crews rolls preppy with a belt on his shorts so SOB with a little larger weapon may work. Personal defense is a mindset that everyone claims to posses, very few do and most never will.

Stick with the Springfield. I know the owners personally and they're the best! I don't know if I want the XD or XDm. Still deciding.

For you Glock guys, check out this link:

http://www.clipdraw.com/store/index.php ... how_detail

For others:

http://www.clipdraw.com/store/index.php ... how_detail.

I have one on my G23 and am about to get another for the G19. One downside is if you use a holster such as the Blackhawk Serpa the clip has to be taken off because the clip will not fit in or over the holster since the holster is a perfect fit. However, I use the Serpa with whenever its cold enough to wear a light jacket until it's not cool anymore. The Clipdraw is better concealing than any other holster I have found and perfect for the shorts and Tee. One other prob is it can be uncomfortable if driving for a good period of time.

I carry a Glock 23 sometimes,...when I've got a jacket or untucked shirt on. More often than not I am carrying a Kel Tek P3AT (.380) in a pocket holster. You forget that it is there. The bullets weigh more than the gun. I always carry it in the summer time in my front pocket of my shorts. It looks like a wallet. It is just so much easier to carry. A bitch to shoot....a dream to carry

Look, I agree its fruity. I call it my fruit bag but...

I can get at my gun just as easy sitting in my truck with my seatbelt on as standing up.

You can reach over your head for something on a store shelf without flashing your pistol to everyone around you.

I got one covered in paint, sheetrock mud, etc. from working on apartments, gun stayed clean and well protected.

You just got to be secure in your manhood.

Looking to get a shotgun for home defense, I bet if I caught someone in my house and pointed this at em, they'd wish they hadn't came in...

Glock 23 .40 cal when the weather and clothing permits. Other times, its the Ruger LCP .380. I love that little gun. Drop it in my front pocket and I'm off.

Home ,,,,,,,,,for sure a tactical shotgun. Nothin warns them better than the movement of an M2 tactical in the night!

If you are talkin home defense I would stay away from .380 because of documented cases of failure in firearms. In my eyes, .38 special or better. I sell guns for a living and wouldn't fil' with a bunch of bs
