Re: trim unit GTR 2007 Model
You can get rebuilds from GT, but for the price a new one is an option.
Mine quit and I just replaced the little o-ring on the magnet stem, and it works like a champ.
Should just be a direct bolt up on the new.

Re: trim unit GTR 2007 Model
I just upgraded my trim to the new style. It comes with everything needed to make the change. A few wires and a few bolts, the new trim has a smaller bolt so it comes with some little brass bushings. Not much to it and the new trim is a good bit faster.

Yea the rebuild kit is expensive. I just replaced the 2 o rings and now it works like a champ. You can prob just unbolt it with the presure on it. Theres also a manual on the GT website that tells a lil bit about the old style trim.
