And I think the point duckhunterf250 was making was no matter how many cross braces you have you're still gonna get dents if you run stumps, well everyone but you I guess

You must be running over logs and not stumps.

A 1/8 bottom won't last most folks around here but a season or 2. I can ruin one in one season.

I got a quote for materials today:

1/8"x8'x20' 5056: $2300+ freight
Bracing: $300
Sub floor: $500

How can a custom built 20' boat cost $3200??

Yes technically the front deck is cross bracing but you need more than that in a 20 foot boat. I have three and the deck and wouldn't have minded a fourth
