Post snow's ?
Thinking of going on a conservation snow goose hunt possibly in AR, MS, or LA. Any ideas on good guides or places to hunt would be greatly appreciated.

If you go to Arkansas (and probably Mississippi), all you need to do is keep driving until you find a field full of birds. Start knocking on doors until you find the farmer. Once you find him, you should have no problem gaining permission to chase the crop eating birds off his land. Just sneak down a ditch & hammer away.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

You will end up with a ton of birds to clean, some muddy clothes/gear, and an empty gas tank in your truck.

And don't forget the Missouri Bootheel. Same there. Just knock on doors. Its real easy. They hate snow geese.

Another tip is to buy a couple of hours of flight time and go up and lock in areas with birds on your gps. Then hit the highway.
