 Game winner SuperTuff 800
Has anyone tried the Game winner SuperTuff 800 Waders from academy? They look and feel great. They even have the canvas lining on the outside of the leg from the thigh down. My Frog Togg waders are still going strong, but Im looking at getting a new pair for my wife. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/game-wi ... pid-638760

Did you read the reviews? Not great, but pretty funny!

Looking to see if anyone has tried them. Most of the time the reviews only show the negatives. I might just end up getting her a pair of frog toggs.

 Re: Game winner SuperTuff 800
I used the one's they carried before game winner, think they were lacrosse. They were inexpensive, but pretty good. Last few pairs I've got from Academy, I've been extremely disappointed in. Cust service has always been good, but the waders were junk.
Been really happy with cabelas though. Cust service and quality.

I bought a pair last year for a hunt at Atchafalaya Delta, they were stupid warm. the one day it got to 50*, I was sweating. They are pretty comfortable and I stayed dry. I don't see anything wrong with them. If I purchase another pair, it'll probably be from cabelas.

 Re: Game winner SuperTuff 800
i havent had this exact pair from academy but I did have the breathable boot foot camo pair and I loved them. they did end up with a hole in the knee but I'm very tough on waders... also with game winner, if you keep the box, you always have a lifetime warranty. just exchange them if needed. I used to work at the academy here in town and anything "academy brand" (game winner, h20 express, ect.) you can return.

Cabelas had their armor flex waders for sale for 119. Id go that route. I just ordered a pair and love em. I use my fleece lined lacrosse for cold days. I can move alot easier with the cabelas

 Re: Game winner SuperTuff 800
Dang them thangs are gone already! I paid 119, 2 weeks ago. Just checked and they back at 219! I actually only paid bout 70 with my cabelas points.
They may go back on sale for the black friday sale. If I recall correctly they had that pair in that black friday catalog they sent me at 119. I wouldnt give 219 for them. Great waders but my lacrose feel alot more stout and better made. I just really like the movement in these.

 Re: Game winner SuperTuff 800
I'll buy game winner stuff for deer hunting because I'm not hard on that gear. For duck hunting I'd get the Cabelas waders. I bought my girlfriend some a few years back and yes she only goes hunting a few times a season but they work good for her and seem to hold up well. I personaly have some Columbia PHG waders I got on black friday 3 years a go and they have a couple of holes that I've patched but their good for $90 and I hunt a lot in areas with thorns.

 Re: Game winner SuperTuff 800
I have tried them all...Lacrosse, Hodgeman, Game Winner, Redhead, Etc...I had the best experience with Game Winner. The last pair I had lasted 5 seasons. I hunt about 30 days a season in buckbrush, timber, etc...I bought another pari of game winner two weeks ago to see if lightning strikes twice. So far I have been very pleased with GW800's I bought.

I actually wore my buddies last year. They are the game winner super tuffs. I loved them more than my lacrosse.
