I just installed a carb on my GT. My boats a console steer. The throttle cable for the carb and control box for the throttle control don't match up. What should I do , Replace the controls box ? If so which control box should I purchase ? I'd appreciate the info

We have a problem with the carb. Me and the guy working on my boat has never installed a carb throttle cable to a console drive. The original throttle cable is not compatible with carb throttle cable. Well since the throttle cable for the carb is different from the regular cable for my control box. he bought a new control box ( that was spose to be compatible )and longer new throttle cable that goes with the carb. Well the control box has the exact same hook up for the cable as the old box that is the original box from GT . Are we missing something ?

Yea , I brought it to rob lol. I need other things fixed anyway. But yes I did figure it out but just don't have time. Work work work ! So this way I can hunt when I'm off and not have to fool with my boat when I could be hunting instead !!
