Drag a small anchor or small piece of grading around and up root it. Then maybe it will sink to the bottom and die.

I'll try the grading we have a lot of stumps and stuff so I won't be able to drag the bottom if that don't work I'll try a rake it's perty thick so a rake might do it

Remember, every piece of grass u break sinks and starts growing as a new plant.
Hydrilla is almost impossible to get rid of. Your best bet would be to run your boat in the area u want to open up until u have the bottom washed clean. That will get u through the season, but it would b a maintenance thing to be able to hunt it

Make you a pen with chicken wire and put some grass carp in it. Crazy idea but i bet it would work

We run the boat in a series of hard over circles (as tight as the boat will circle in reverse) and just cut a hole. It doesn't seem to work going forward. The circle isn't as tight, so the grass doesn't get pulverized. Typically we open up several holes in the hydrilla prior to the season coming in so we don't have to deal with it in the dark. Fortunately, here it is only an early season issue. It begins to die down after the first few freezes.

Ima try a rake first and if that don't do it ima try just ridin around in it you don't wanna back up hard you catch a stump
Backing up a couple times dedicated and you break stuff
