Re: Finally got something Congratulations. Personally drives me absolutely fricken batty listening to everyone talk about QDMA like they are a biologist with a masters in buckology. If your thing is growing big bucks or spending all season watching deer walk by waiting on a "trophy" then have at it but if someone doesn't have that type of opportunity or drive then so be it. I love seeing them hit the ground or sharing in the fun of someone else's success!

Re: Finally got something The man I'm goin hunting with tom is possibly one of the smartest individuals in the state about deer, no he's not a damn biologist, but his father was the creator of the deer research program at LSU and the one that invented DMAP many years ago. His father use to take bucks from Northern states and breed them with does down here and vice versa and sometimes you would gbet big bucks and sometimes ya wouldn't regardless if it was a monster or not. This guy has a wall of trophies. I think about 7 or 8 one of them being his dad's 160 and 3/4" monster I clung a pope and young record (many years ago) NOT A SINGLE ONE WAS ON BUCK MANAGEMENT, he has always shot what he wanted when he wanted, and let walk what he wanted to walk, his words "it's all a big game of luck, the more your in the woods, the better your luck" lol
