 Diesel fuel additives
Any of y'all with diesel trucks run a fuel additive? I just started running stanadyne in my 02 lb7 Duramax and damn what a difference. She idles so quietly now and my mpg went from 15 in town to 19-20 riding around town. Still only getting 13 on the highway going 75-80 which is pretty bad haha

 Re: Diesel fuel additives
I put a cup of 2 stroke oil (or marvel mystery oil) to a full 55gal tank in my Dodge 5500 service truck. It's got the 6.7L Cummins. Didn't notice a mileage difference but the topend is a tad quieter.
Not too worried about mileage anyway, it gets between 7 and 8.5 no matter what I'm doing lol

 Re: Diesel fuel additives
I've always run DieselTreat. No complaints. Kept me from gelling up and the tests I've seen for the fuel pump lubrication say its decent (not the best, but pretty good). It's cheap and plentiful.

 Re: Diesel fuel additives
Diesel clean. Gray bottle in summer and white in winter.

 Re: Diesel fuel additives
Quart of transmission fluid every other fill up. Cheaper, does the same thing

 Re: Diesel fuel additives
This seems like some good advice then. Got about 70k on the second set of injectors
