If you could choose one and why?

I know people will answer with "35 hp" but I'm trying to save on weight and my boat is not built for a 35 hp. Plus they are slightly out of my price range.

what are some pros? What are some cons.
They all cost about the same.

my boat is a 1550 mod v. I know it's not the ideal rig but it's what I'm working with at the time.
I had a 31 hp go devil lt on it before and it seemed too heavy.

it did push it in the 20s with 3 guys and no gear at all.

I've always liked Mud Buddy but I seem to be drawn in to Prodrive now. Also the gator tails are supposed to be faster?

If you want instant reverse and customer service go Gator-tail..

If you want Full Power Reverse and customer service go Pro-Drive.

If you want no reverse and dont mind poor customer service go Mud Buddy.

If you want no bells and whistles (neutral,reverse,trim) but do want service go devil makes a 23 surface drive.

Isnt the weight difference from a 25gtr to a 35 only like 20lbs?

Well the 35 hp prodrive is 335 lbs. The 25 hp is 260 lbs. I assumed it was near the same for all others too.

235 lbs for 25 GTR and 260 lbs for 35 GTR according to Gator Tail.

260 for the 35 hp! No shit I like that. I don't need reverse. I have an outboard with reverse and I may have used it 3 or 4 times haha.

That's the 35 GTR. It has reverse. The non-reverse Gator Tail will be lighter.

I don't know why these guys won't list the weights on there sites. I mean it plain as day on ProDrives site.

Ok I went full retard for a minute now I see it there. Still don't see it on mudbuddy though. I hear lots of negative feedback about there customer service though so I may steer clear of them.
