That right there is the greatest feeling in the world!

Calling upon my MMT friends , Easton has brain conditions that we have known. , but I failed to express .... He had an MRI at birth and other testing which confirmed hydrocephalus -- we were able to go home after 5 day stay in the NICU. And everything was good and is still going good , had a follow up ultrasound yesterday went over results today and now back at hospital for another MRI and plan for surgery(brain) ...

So just asking for a few prayers while we are here..

A few updated pictures .. It's been a long road and will be even longer ..

Easton had a programmable shunt placed at 16 days old to drain fluid off his brain down into his belly(your body just reabsorbs the fluids) .. Let's just say the medical bills from hospital,pediatric neurosurgeon, NICU, now the neurologist, therapist and regular pedi appointment has become overwhelming.

Easton has a battle ahead of him for a long time .. Back in September he got a cold and just wasting feeling well brought him in late at night to hospital and that's when the khoas started .. He started to have seizures.. He was then immediately rushed to a specialty children's hospital here in Houston to where they can monitor him . Turns out he has multiple seizures multiple times a day (they are sub-clinical - which means you cannot see them) He has had multiple EEG. already to see his brain functions ,neurologists says a lot is abnormal. He shows signs of early stage of cerebral palsy (muscle rigid) so we go to a special pediatric therapist 2x a week. He sees the neurologist roughly once a month. He has to take 2 medicines 2x a day for his seizures . Umong all those things me and my wife try to make things day by day to do the best we can for him and have him growth up with the best medical care possible . Prays have been answered multiple times with all the visits the all doctors with half-way decent answers.

You would not even know cause he just looks like a normal healthy baby that is currently doing what a baby should .. Eat sleep and shit..

Therapy is helping him learn to sit up and use his hands .. He does not track anything well with his eyes , so we are unsure how well he can see and even if any, that's a future dilemma cause eye docs can't communicate to know so he has to be older ..

Long post but I'll wrap it up .. Thanks for all y'all's prayers

And finally the goal for this post was to inform and give an update ..

For Easton to continue to receive the best care possible he will continue to see the therapist and all doctors. With the help of family and friends we are putting together a benefit to help pay off some medical bills. I hate to ask for handouts and the benefit was brought up by family cause we are all doing everything we can.. I certainly am not made of money and give the hospital what I can$50-100 a month which ain't even putting a dent in the bills ..

For the folks in SETX (nederland) to be exact .. I'm a putting on a link sale to help cover the bills .. On Feburary the 7th we will be having a Link ,drink ,and choice of desert for $5 , location will be in the Bobby's parking lot on nederland ave. , we are currently ironing out the details and getting 1000 tickets made today to try and attempt a head count of how many to buy .. So if your around and wanna help to a cause stop by and visit (as long as weather cooperates Easton will be attending as well) .. A portion of the proceeds will be going to Hydrocephalus foundation and Epilepsy foundation for research ..

If you can't make this one(it is quick and informal) .. We will be having more in the future
