 Conservation Goose Guide Recommendations
I want to do a conservation goose hunt, pretty much anywhere in Louisiana. I hear that some of the guides that advertise this suck. So anyone that yall have experience with let me know. Thanks.

 Re: Conservation Goose Guide Recommendations
I know its a long haul but weve got a group of guys that run a snow goose outfit up here in IL. They run a spread of 10,000+ full body decoys and 3 or 4 different 8 to 16 man pits. I havent had a chance to hunt with them yet but they've got a great success rate. 100 bird days are common and they've had a couple close to 300.
This was an aerial pic of one of the spreads a few years back. I think its even bigger now.

 Re: Conservation Goose Guide Recommendations
Try Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska or South Dakota. Arkansas is closer and the hunts are affordable
We've only used Up North outdoors in Missouri and Arkansas. There is Neu outdoors which I've heard good things about and northern skies.
Don't go expecting to hunt hot fields most outfits put out several 1-2000 decoys spreads in an area and hunt them until the birds move out. It works because they're running traffic just pulling in passing birds. Some guides will bounce around but not many. Even running traffic the potential for high number days are there. They'll tell you the average hunt is 20-30 birds a day and that's the truth.
