Prayers sent for the family I liked watching the show. Josh & Jake were at least hopefully there with their dad on the boat.

Big hole left in that show. His kids are probably tore up. 53 and gone.

Damn, that sucks. Sad news all around, friend of mine from work died of a heart attack Sunday sitting in his reclining chair watching TV. His roommate thought he was asleep until he wasn't moving, he was 50 years old.

My pfd is my new best friend. Two days ago I was on the river with winds in the 30mph range and boy was the river mad. When the wind is out of the west it means a long day on the river. I fished three days in the wind and my bones feel rattled apart. Today was just a slight chop and I ran wide open with the wind chill cutting to the bone but got done running nets in four hours.
In regards to Phil from the deadliest catch he was way to young to pass. Sad to see.
Randy

I watched that series last year and that dude was NOT in good health then. His son, and the crew had to convince him to turn around and get help as he had some problems. Come to find out he was having clots and pulmonary embolism. He could have died back then, and the medical guys explained to him how close he was hanging by a thread. Yep, way too young to die.
