Well, i'm heading up to Madison, WI today to visit a buddy of mine and go to a hockey game...quick trip, fly back tomorrow...going out tonight and I hear they call Madison "Mad-town". We'll see. Already checked out a cool micro-pub named The Great Dane...looks like an awesome place. Any other suggestions?

It's really nice going out in Madison since they moved to no-smoking a couple years ago. When I go down, I usually spend most of my time in the Vintage which is about a block off State St towards the Kohl Center. I don't think you'll have a hard time finding a decent bar if you're walking around State St.!
