Engineering not English- they don't allow pocket protectors on that side of campus.

Re: New Hybrid mud motor design
You mind giving us your patent number. I would like to check it out online. You are more than welcomed to check mine (Water Craft Drive Unit - US Patent # 6,902,449) might give you a few ideas for what you are building.

Re: New Hybrid mud motor design
Although he signed up as a member and asked for everyone's opinion, and boy is he getting it; I think we need to be reminded of a few things.
Let's not forget that the motors we are driving didn't just fall out of the sky. These things were in the R&D stage many moons ago and probably look nothing like they originally did.
I also remember reading somewhere that a certain guy named Kyle had an engineering project in school building a motor that would run air cooled in harsh environments.
Now its kind of weird looking at the drawings and comparing them to what we are running now, and it is a little hard to reinvent the wheel as we know it. All I'm saying is I wonder if Coco, the Broussards and the Provosts were told it couldn't be done or laughed at? Be thankful they kept working at it if they were.

Re: New Hybrid mud motor design
Why doesn't everyone just quit posting on this thread? Let it die, and hopefully LJHOPP will die along with it. This tool hasn't posted a useful piece of info since he's been registered. Every post he has, has something to do with this stupid ass motor. Or his gpa, or something to do with why he's smart and you're not. Not one useful piece of info has been posted on this thread since about page 2. Why are we worried about it anyway? He's got it all covered, right?
Just my .02. I'm tired of lookin at it.

Re: New Hybrid mud motor design
More useless info. Just let it die dude. Either way, I'm done with it. You can post whatever else you want. Like I said before, there hasn't been anything useful posted on your topic since about page 2. You keep talking about other people talking shit, but then you continue to talk shit back. It doesn't seem like you even know anything about these motors, or have ever even driven one. You haven't answered a single other question about any other topic that I've seen. Other than to somehow interject your "new mud motor design", which if you ask me, looks like it will eventually turn into a gdsd after a lil bit of trial and error.
Carry on, I'm done.

Re: New Hybrid mud motor design
LOL. I was talkin about helping someone out on a thread other than yours. Your pretty conceded, huh? You haven't posted in another thread, except to talk about your own thread, since you've been here.
Seems like you don't know anything about mud motors. There has been a hundred questions about mud motors since you came around. You have not chimed in to help on one other thread. All 100 or so of your post have been on a thread you started. You have not helped one other person with one thing since you've been here. Which is why I don't understand why anyone is even continuing to post or to help you with anything. I guess its cause you just keep egging everyone on. Hell this is my third post here now, and I'm so sick of looking at this thread its ridiculous.

Re: New Hybrid mud motor design
LJHOPP you are for sure way smarter in the text book then most people on here if your gpa is 3.7 but man people are scared of change we run all kinds of long tails around here in the marsh and timber in the north mississippi delta and maybe you stumbled upon the gold mine of mud motor designs that will totally fix all our problems but until they see it run past them carrying more then them in way worse schit then they running in they will not listen its that simple your fighting a loosin battle without ground to stand on
