 CC throttle question Putting a CC in, cant find a thread showing where to get the throttle lever for a CC... Need some help....

Re: CC throttle question I just did mine. I used the reg throttle cable that came from gator tail for stock carb Morse style cable. I installed a clevis fork on the end of the cable and used the mikuni cable and attached it to to the clevis. I can shoot you some pics tomorrow. You can also use the Morse cable and add a ball to the carb and attach it that way. I had issues with this. First I couldn't get full throttle before I would start binding the carb which would tear the boat eventually. Boat Dr makes a little simpler attaccment for connecting the two cables together but he's been out of them.

Re: CC throttle question Thanks man, pics would be awesome. Im just piecing it together right now, gonna have the CC built in a few weeks. So you got the stick throttle lever from GT as well or just the cable?

Re: CC throttle question There are several areas you can mount the angle I just chose this spot for the time being. Boat Dr mounts it across the back of the heads but I'm running one of handles handle and marsh mellow exhaust so it wouldn't fit. I would prefer a shorter Morse cable and a longer mikuni cable and place the mount inside the hunt deck.
