Fishing permit for Miami Corp/Big Burns
Does anyone know if fishing permits are still acquirable for the Miami Corp/Big Burns? I can only find information dated as recent as 2012. If anyone knows I would appreciate a shout. My camp is on the south side and I'm only a few miles from the Gibbstown bridge and would love to fish in there. Not interested in hunting there since I have a lease already. Years ago you could get a permit for the area, but LDWF doesnt even reference anything on the area now.

That would be Chesson's. I'll stop by there on my way home and see. Thanks. I didn't know if you could even get one anymore.

Thanks for the input everyone. Just out of curiosity, where are those of you who fish the burns going in at? I see a drainage canal that dumps into the intercostal but all of the ramps under the bridge that access directly into the property are chained off. I don't mind running the IC to get in, but if there is a way to avoid that, I would love to know about it.

Chesson's has sold out of their allotment of permits, but Bayou Fuel in Creole still has a few left. Trying to decide now if it's worth it to buy one since I found out about the 25 HP restriction. My GT is a 31. I have a 25 Johnson, but it has a 35 cover and no boat to put it on....lol. I aint pulling my SD for that.
