Have any of you mudmotor folks in Texas and Louisiana been helping out the flood victims? On national TV I see canoes, airboats and inflatables but no mudmotors.

Haven't see anything down here. Where im at atleast, everything thats flooded is swamp or marsh so nothing exciting other than some fun boat rideing

Buddy of mine did use his airboat though to rescue/herd cattle away from the flood waters in Huntsville Tx. It was on the news here lol

They'd take the help. I'll see if I can get a hold of someone over there to put you in touch with to see if they need a guy with a boat.

Like Quack said, our flooding has been pretty much in the low lying areas around the rivers. Now ..... last Wednesday was the first time in a week that I was able to drive my little car to work from home. I was using my long tail to taxi folks in and out to where we left our vehicles. Quite an experience if you've never handled a small boat with a substantial load in high current waters at 2 AM. Luckily I been in a boat ALL of my life. Those poor folks up around Shreveport are going to be displaced for some time, and it aint over yet. Our water is still high here, so there's still opportunity for another flood here. Depends entirely on how Toledo Bend manages their water up above.

They had a big levee breech in Colfax at LA Mudfest. Had to evacuate 113 people (not sure if it was by boat or air).

Heard there were pictures of campers with about a foot of the top showing.

I've been to the mudfest there in colfAx and for the water to be over those buildings like that is unreal... I can remember where the river was and for it to be that much higher ..... I can't imagine
