looks like i might as well pull the bow flotation for sure now cause i ain't putting that thing in my boat. between the bench,that thing and the front deck......might as well fill the whole thing with foam and just ride on da top

alll them floatations chambers do is take up room in the boat so i cut mine out a few years back but my floatation became water logged thats why i removed it and love the additional room, never really worried about sinking but i know for a fact you can fill the back half the boat up with water to the rim and the boat still floats just moves slower and your flip flops float down da bayou if you ride bare foot
still have floatation in the front that has managed to stay water free

when you stick your finger into the spots where the floatation was put into the chambers and it goes right through felling kinda grittey and wet then it is water logged
the floor is easy to check on my boat just popped out all the pop rivets and i was pretty obvious when i looked at it.
felt suspicious when noticed the boat performance going getting worse.
filled the boat with water while my 27 gdlt kohler was making a sharp turn was able to still run while pulling the plug and riding down the bayou for a few minutes until the water drained out and the floation was out the boat
never tried stopping the boat with H2O in it, beer makes you do stupid things but common sense goes a long way.

i don't think i have any "spots" / holes to go pushing. it's all sealed / welded up - it's just 1 & a half yrs old. wish i had weighed the mo fo when i got it new. right after i replaced my 1st prop (& before the damn venice sand got me again), it was running great - just like as new, especially w/ a heavy load. some spots w/ just myself, it was even better - i got over 30, but i think i had the current w/ me. anyway, if the crap gets waterlogged, i was thinking about just replacing it every ~3 yrs or ripping it out. if i ever get a new boat w/ floatation (which means to me, probably w/ a hunt deck), i'd like part of the deal to include a plan/price to replace the foam every ~3 yrs.
