 Mud Buddy Motor comparision questions
I'm looking for pro/cons for a couple different motors
37 EFI Sport V 37 EFI HDR
Trying to decide what the advantages and dis advantages of both would be?? the different clutches and rev designs specificaly. performance differences?? durability..... stuff like that....
I've been told by people i trust the Sport V is legit but i've also been told the new HDR is just like the old HD's (That i owned and was very happy with) only it now has reverse. Previously my only complaint about the old motors.
Dont bother with the GTR, Pro Drive, GDSD, stuff. I'm down to one or the other here and just looking for further info.

Re: Mud Buddy Motor comparision questions
HDR, I'll have my kit by the end of this month and let yall know. From my understanding the New HDR will be shipping soon. The HDR retro kits will follow on next couple months after further testing.
To the op what kind of conditions do you run? Marsh muck, hard bottoms and veggies I'd say the HDR all the way. The V has allot of problems in the beginning, but seem to have been worked out. It is more like an outboard driving, but doesn't have the outdrive reach.

Re: Mud Buddy Motor comparision questions
I had an hd ordered then saw when they came out with HDR, so called and changed my order.was not given a time of delivery. Been waiting for two years to order boat and motor so a little extra time is not a big deal.i do have a boat to use this season.hopefully I'm high on list though

Re: Mud Buddy Motor comparision questions
Hdr will be faster and HD frame is proven. The reverse system should be near identical to a console gtr, which is also proven. Just not on the hdr yet.
