Re: Louisiana WMA alligator lottery Incorrect. $25 for the license and $40 per tag. I can either sell the gator/ foot or skin and keep. If I keep it I have to make an appointment with the Biologist during the week and take another day off work. It's much easier to sell them. Friend of mine got over $300 for one gator last year. Re: Louisiana WMA alligator lottery I would say that there isn't any money to be made with just a couple tags. I get two tags a year for our family property. Last year I made just under $600 on my two alligators. It may not be much but it pays for my duck hunting lease fees!
