 Vacation?? I know this is a little advance but the wife and I are thinking about a vacation February March from Minnesota coming to Louisiana anyone have any good suggestions would like to catch a few fish while there and just do bunch of fun stuff also thinking we may rent a house for a week any info would be great

Re: Vacation?? They have the casino's in lake Charles and plenty of great fishing on calcasieu ( big ) lake. Plenty of charters. Venice is a great place as well

Re: Vacation?? Rent a houseboat in Henderson Lake. You'll be in the middle of everywhere worth seeing in Louisiana.

Re: Vacation?? Like an hour and a half from lake Charles though. Decent lil drive . But would be worth it if you stayed a night or 2 in lake Charles

Re: Vacation?? Setx mudrun is in febuary. Id say that is a must do if ur down that time of year. I know you can hitch a ridewith any of us. As far as fishing you have cameron and sabine pass right there close. Maybe spend a few days in that area, then go to new orleans for the rest. Of ur trip.
