In the market for some good bow fishing lights at a good price. Any recommendations from anyone?

Are the 10W outdoor halogens bright enough? Or do I need to go up to 50W? Not sure if the 50W halogen would run off of 12V system?

This is my first bowfish setup ive done.

Pretty satisfied with the 27 watters. Not sure on the brand but it's the same ones gator tail sells....

I also run a bowfishing charter, but out of IL. if you are running a 12v system, your only real option is LED lighting. I know some friends that have 27w LEDs and they shoot fish. But when they come on my rig with 16 50w LEDs they don't want to go back to their 27w lights.

for the absolute best pricing use DHgate.com, Its the amazon of china. All of the American LED companies buy their lights wholesale from here, rebrand them and sell for 2.5X more.

also, get warm white (halogen color)

I went from 14 27 watts to 10 of these and so far so good.

Another option would be to get the same light in cool white and tint them yellow. The cool white lights were cheaper.

steinb3rg you rather those 30w led over the 27w? I have 20 of the 27w tinted yellow. Is it worth the switch?

Yea. The 30w have a 120 degree flood pattern meaning I can have them spaced a little further apart and they still overlap with no shadows in between. Don't get me wrong, we shot a good amount of fish over the 27's but I like this setup better.

What centers do you have your 30w on?

I'll have to measure when I get home. Can't remember off the top of my head.

14.5" centers. The mounts have an .75" of play either way

No I have three batteries. Interstate 24 for cranking, nav lights, stereo, leds. I have two interstate 27's that I use for my trolling motor(24 v). I put the same type of plug on my light rails. They run 24v off the two 27's

The 27 watt LEDs I bought and ran fine but ended up not liking them. I considered tinting them to a warmer white but decided to send them back and save up for the sealites. I may end up trying those 12V 30W floods but I had 6 20W floods along with my 27 watters and didnt think the 20 floods were near enough. Im leaning towards just going all in and buying the sealites.
