Anyone ever heard of Advantage ?
They are alot cheaper than copper head or go devil.
I'm wondering why they are so much cheaper.

You tend to get what you pay for in this case.

Copperhead and GoDevil are the two least expensive motors that have proven themselves as reliable. I don't have first hand experience with an Advantage motor, but chances are, if it was worth putting your money into we would have seen them all over this site by now.

X2 best to save your money and get one of the main 4 manufacturers. If you try to go cheap now you may end up spending the money you saved fixing some cheap junk that you just bought.

Did you want us to tell you they're the greatest thing out there or did you want an honest answer.... I don't understand reactions like this. You asked a question, you got an answer. For the record, people run what they run here based on experience and trial and error most of the time. That's why the brands that were listed are trusted.

I bought a Dixie after Mike took over the business. Knock on wood, it's been a great motor. Here's the thing though... Where I hunt up here in Wisconsin I'm running shallow weeds/muck, and very few obstacles or digging in the mud. If I was down south running 12 months a year through cypress swamps, I'd have bought something else.
