Live Muscovy ducks work better than any of my stuffed mallards. Just make sure you bring plenty of bread.

 Re: Real Decoys
Jess... I have seen stuffed gobblers for turkey hunting and stuffed geese for a hunting spread. That is an expensive endeavor.
Not sure what the stuck dog is a reference to.

 Re: Real Decoys
Did you read it? The guy got off on watching dogs get stuck in the mud and struggling to get out.

 Real Decoys
Jess go over to the decoy forums in duckhunter.net you'll get everything you need there. Your going to find out the upkeep is a little more for how we hunt. And forget about the salt marsh if you head to the coast pal
Now Shane smith uses one and these damn Oceolas all these guys go nuts over go absolutely crazy getting to it. More so than anything and I mean anything you can buy
Hope that helps

 Re: Real Decoys
When I was just starting to go out on my own as a teenager, we had a farmer friend who had a flock of mixed pet ducks that hopped around their neighborhood and and would circle almost endlessly. I was instructed not to shoot the birds that didn't flare and not to hunt the pond by the house where he fed them. My dad warned me not to go back if I did not want to lose my car and my gun after I told him about how much better the live decoys worked than his Flambeaus.
