I Gota 25hp efi Kohler on a Prodrive been trying to look for a cam for it anyone out there ran one in there's or a older 25-27 Kohler ?

Cb will be along. He put a lot of effort into making those run. Don't think it went to well. Check with Midwest super cub.

I just put a MSC 4k cam in one. Goin to test this weekend

Ran it today . Not an efi, its an oldie with a few thousand hours, cleaned up heads .030 deck and header .Very stong bottom end then it leans out into the 15afr range Above 3/4 throttle. bumped the main jet today and will check it again tomorro.

I finally got the top end dialed in today. Wound up have to downsize air bleed to main jet to get fuel to respond. Runs very good but seems only a little stronger if any than my last more simple combo of .005 heads ported with +3 timing abit more main jet and a header. Im sure if this one had a better intake and carb it would appreciate the cam more. Imo the cam would not be worth it unless u had a real carb. If yours is an efi i think a big cam will through your tune out of whack. I dont know if anyone has even modded one of those yet. If your that kind of guy you might be the first soo im still wainting to hear what CBs badass combo was

Seems like your getting it figured out .Yea don't see much on my motor guess pretty new . Gonna fuel tuner I'm putting on it tomorrow and head work is coming next .tuner should help me dial it in when I get heads done and eventually cam . Just been trying to research on the cams alittle be little while before I try out different cams

With not many exhaust options , I've made a bps q work on mine thinking bout gutting the old stock muffler don't know if that would do much besides just be louder . What you got running on your motor ?

The 2 im talkin about have custom 2/1 headers . You should start a fresh topic on your build . It being a 25 efi it goin to get alot of attention

I didn't have anything badass. I wasted a bunch of time and money when i should have just started with a bigger block.

What y'all you end up doing to yours ?

Put it on a shelf and replaced it with a big block. Same thing you should do.

Probly rite lol just Gota mess around with it don't really want a lot of speed looking to get it push load better on boat I have a moment like the small boat and small block for what I do with it
