 Adjustable rev-limiter
Anyone have an adjustable rev limiter available for non-CDI of coarse. Been looking on Jegs and Summit trying to find something that would work. Looks like they are all for hei or inductive systems and not the magneto. Been reading where the BPS unit are not very well made and don't always work.

 Re: Adjustable rev-limiter
they don't have one. The closest thing you will find is a Bandelero rev limiter but its for 5500 rpms. Just get use to letting off the throttle, that's what I had to do.

Subscribing...
My BPS rev-limiter left me stranded when I was on a hunting trip to Nebraska last year. We finally found the birds on the second to last day, headed out our final morning and my motor shut down halfway out there. Tried wiggling everything I could and nothing would start it back up. Floated to the next ramp and flagged someone down for a ride to the truck and loaded it up and drove 7 hours home. Turned the key the next day and it fired right up and it hasn't happened since....

 Re: Adjustable rev-limiter
That's what I was afraid of. Surely someone makes something that would work. What about something from the Harley guys?

 Re: Adjustable rev-limiter
Really would like to find something more reliable than bps. Might go with the bandalero limiter, adjustable would be nice though. I'll see if I can find the site you mentioned.
